Pag is the city which offers well preserved monuments and a completely different nature with rocky magic. Culturally and historically being the most interesting place on the island, and after long and turbulent history full of ups and downs, the town managed to preserve many of its landmarks. Nowadays, the living monument of knocked down city walls is Skrivanat Tower, as well as the northern part of the town centre, where the remains of the old town walls can still be seen. Pag is a town of numerous palaces on which facades coats of arms of noble Pag families can still be seen.
