HISTORY PAG IS A CAREFULLY DRAWN PACKAGE AIMED AT PRESENTING YOU WITH THE ISLAND’S RICH HISTORY, ITS HERITAGE PRESERVED TO THIS DAY AND THE SPLENDOUR OF LUN OLIVE GARDENS, WHICH ARE ALMOST AS BEAUTIFUL AS THE GARDEN OF EDEN.
 
Explore the island’s rich history and get to know the island’s famous legends. Make the most of your stay and get acquainted with the island’s century old tradition. Our competent guides will give you an insight into the production of Pag salt and Pag lace and tell you many legends that Pag’s old town hides. The guides will take you to the Consumption of Mary Church where you will have the opportunity to taste baškotini, made by the nuns from the Pag monastery using a one thousand year old recipe. You will also have the opportunity to visit the ancient town of CISSA, most of which is below the sea level and hiding many relics. You will visit Novalja City Museum and 2 km long Lun Olive Gardens where the oldest olive tree, which is more than 1200 years old, is located.

ITINERARY:

DAY 1

Accommodation in Hotel in the centre of Pag where we will agree the itinerary for the next couple of days.
 
DAY 2
After breakfast, we will go on a walking tour of The City of Pag followed by our licensed guide. There, you will have the chance to learn more about the island’s history and visit the Consumption of Mary Church, Duke’s Palace as well as the monastery where the nuns make sweet bread baškotin using the one thousand year old recipe. You will visit the permanent exhibition of Pag lace and the exhibition of salt production. Then we will go for a 2 km ride to the old town of Pag, a rich archaeological site and a place of worship. We will visit St. Mary’s Church and Franciscan Monastery there. 
 
DAY 3
After breakfast, we will head to the north of the island and visit the remains of the ancient town of CISSA, which is below sea level for most part. It is an archaeological site where historical relics are still being found. Later we will visit Novalja town center, The Museum of Novalja and Roman aqueduct. Afterwards we will continue our trip to Lun and Lun Olive Gardens.
 
DAY 4
We are going to take you to the largest city of northern Dalmatia, and one of the most popular tourist destinations - the city of Zadar, who was in July 2017 added to the unesco world heritage list! this beautiful Croatian town with a 3000 year history and rich cultural heritage is an ideal place for touring and sightseeing.
 
DAY 5
The day begins with the story of Gligora cheese factory and the production of Pag cheese, the most famous and most renowned Croatian cheese and trademark of the island. The tour includes a visit to the production and the storage basement where the cheese is ripening. Continue to tasting of various cheeses and wines in the tasting room above the production facility with beautiful views. After the cheese we will go to the small fishing village Simuni where we will have time to walk and have a little rest. After we visit the Prtorić family restaurant, where a traditional local lunch of local eco products is organized.
 
DAY 6
Boat trip start at Pag city promenade. After a panoramic sail across the Pag Bay we stop in Metajna, a small fisherman’s village where everything is within walking distance: a beautiful natural beach for your first swim of the day, cafes and restaurants for a warm cup of coffee or breakfast and the old village with its secrets waiting to be explored. Next we sail to the lovely beaches in the Doors of Pag, where we prepare a traditional fish lunch.
